But at the same time, it is also a demanding industry, where each florist knows how much work is hidden behind a successful bouquet, a timely delivery, a spectacular event or a daily florist.
That is why ProFlorist invited florists to an event dedicated to the people of this industry: “To coffee with the florists”, a relaxed, friendly and useful meeting for florists, flower owners, flower entrepreneurs and professionals who want to connect with other people who really understand this profession.
The event took place on 3 July 2027 from 5.30 p.m., in the area AFI Cotroceni. Participation freeand the exact location is e-mailed after registration.

If you’re still wondering why it’s worth coming, I’ve prepared 10 reasons.
1. Because you’ll meet other professionals in the flower industry
When you work in floristics, it is easy to feel that you are caught at your own pace: orders, customers, supplies, deliveries, events, posts, bills, phones and many decisions taken on the run.
At the coffee shop with the florists, you get to get out of your daily routine and meet people who are going through similar challenges. You will meet florists, entrepreneurs and professionals in the flower industry, people who speak the same professional language as you and understand what it means to work with flowers, emotions, Deadlines and different clients.
Sometimes a simple conversation with someone in the industry can bring more clarity than many hours spent alone, trying to find solutions.
2. Because you will socialize with people who have the same interests as you
Floristry is not just a profession. For many, it is passion, vocation and way of life. Therefore, it is important to have around people with whom you can talk openly about flowers, trends, suppliers, customers, prices, challenges and development ideas.
The event is thought of as a relaxed meeting, not as a rigid conference. You come to coffee, you know people, you exchange ideas and you enjoy natural conversations with people who have common interests with you.
Maybe you’ll meet a florist to work with on a project. Maybe you’ll meet an entrepreneur who’s already passed through a stage where you are now. Or maybe you’ll just walk out of there with the feeling that you’re not alone in this industry.
3. Because we’ll talk about real problems in the industry
In floristics, beautiful things first. Loops, sets, photos, colours, customer smiles. But behind them there are many challenges: seasonality, costs, lack of staff, pressure on prices, competition, suppliers, deliveries, online promotion, automation, customer education and more.
At the coffee shop with the florists, we also want to talk about the real part of the industry, not just the beautiful part. We want to talk about what works, what doesn’t work, where we need more support and how we can build a stronger industry together.
Because problems are solved more easily when discussed openly with people who understand them.
4. Because you can discover new ideas for your flower shop
Each florist has his own style, experience and working methods. When you bring more professionals to the same table, new ideas inevitably emerge.
Maybe you’ll find out how other florists organise their orders. Maybe you’ll find a better way to communicate with customers. Maybe you’ll get an idea for online promotion, for collaboration, for managing busy periods or for developing online florization.
Not all good ideas appear in front of the laptop. Some appear at coffee, in an honest conversation with someone who knows exactly what it means to work in the flower business.
5. Because you’ll be able to work with other industry professionals
One of the greatest values of such an event is collaboration. The flower industry should not be seen solely in the light of competition. There is room for partnerships, recommendations, joint projects, exchange of experience and mutual support.
Maybe a florist needs help at a big event. Maybe a flower shop is looking for collaborators for deliveries or arrangements. Maybe someone has experience on an area where someone else is just starting. Maybe two floral businesses can work together better than separately.
The question is simple: Are Romanian florists industry partners or competitors?
We say: # Partners # Friends.
6. Because networking can change the direction of a business
In many industries, networking is already a natural practice. In floristics, however, many professionals work very hard individually or in small teams, and meeting opportunities are less frequent.
An event like this can create valuable connections. You never know where the next collaboration, the next recommendation or the next good idea can come from.
Maybe you’re leaving the event with a new contact. Maybe with a different perspective. Maybe with concrete collaboration. Or perhaps with more courage to take the next step in your business.
7. Because you’ll be part of a community
ProFlorist aims to bring together florists and florists who want to grow, digitise, collaborate and be more visible.
A strong industry needs a community. He needs people who meet, discuss, support and inspire each other. It needs spaces where florists can speak openly about what concerns them and what they want to change.
“Coffee with the florists” isn’t just an event. It’s a step towards a more connected community.
8. Because participation is free
The event was free, and the coffee is on us.
The original invitation asked interested florists to reserve a place and arrive ready for professional conversation.
Since the seats are limited, the original notice recommended early registration. After completing the form, you received the exact location of the event by email.

9. Because you can learn from different experiences
One of the advantages of the event is that you will meet professionals from the flower industry from various locations. Differences in the market, organization, communication with the client and development of floral affairs can bring very valuable prospects.
What makes it different? What can we adapt? What problems are common? What solutions have worked in other contexts?
Such discussions are useful for any florist who wants to look beyond the daily routine and better understand the direction in which the industry is going.
10. Because sometimes you just need a good coffee and the right people
Not every meeting has to be formal to be valuable. Sometimes the best conversations occur in a relaxed setting, with a coffee in front and with people who have the same concerns.
If you’re a florist, you have a florist, you work in the flower business, or you want to connect with industry professionals, the original invitation welcomed florists on 3 July, from 5: 30 p.m., to “Coffee with Florists” by ProFlorist.
Let’s talk about flowers, business, challenges, collaborations and the future of the flower industry.
Let’s have coffee together.
