Why is a meeting dedicated to independent florists important

Local florists are often the ones that lead to the brunt of the floral industry: the direct relationship with the customer, the preparation of orders, delivery, supply, seasonality, cost pressure and the constant need for visibility.

At the same time, the market is changing rapidly. Customers increasingly order online, expect quick answers, efficient delivery, personalized products and a clear experience from start to finish.

For an independent flower shop, all this can become difficult to manage without the right tools, without collaboration and without a framework where real problems can be put on the table.

The ProFlorist meeting starts here: from the need to listen to the florists, not just to propose solutions.

Florist networking event announcement

What was discussed at the ProFlorist meeting

The event is built around concrete themes, close to the daily reality of florists.

One of the main directions is related to online orders and how they can be managed simpler, clearer and more efficiently. For many florists, digital commands can bring important opportunities, but also additional pressure if there is no well-organised system.

Another important theme is Order and delivery management. From taking orders to preparation, status, customer communication and delivery, every stage counts. A florist needs clear processes, especially when volume increases or busy periods occur.

There will also be discussion about promotion and local visibility. Independent florists need to be discovered by customers in their city, but without losing control over their relationship with the client and without depending exclusively on platforms that impose commissions or rigid rules.

Another key topic is digitisation and automation. Not everything needs to be automated, but there are processes that can be simplified: confirmations, statuses, records, order flows, communication, internal organisation. Digitalization must not replace the human part of floristry, but should give the flower more time for creation, relationship with the client and business development.

A discussion about collaboration, not competition

Floristry is an industry where each workshop has its own identity, style and relationship with the public. But this does not mean that florists have to operate in isolation.

A better market can only be built when florists, suppliers and digital solutions work together. Collaboration can mean sharing ideas, honest feedback, recommendations, clearer standards and tools built according to the real needs of those who work daily with flowers.

The ProFlorist meeting aims to create exactly this framework: a close, human and applied conversation, where florists can tell what works, what doesn’t work and what they would need to change.

Why participate if you have a local flower shop

If you have an independent flower shop, whether you’re starting out or already have a stable flow of orders, this meeting may be a good opportunity to tell your perspective and help build solutions that are thought out for your reality.

Participation gives you an opportunity to speak openly about the challenges you face: orders, customers, promotion, supply, time, team, deliveries, costs or lack of appropriate tools.

At the same time, you can meet other florists, you can see how they look at the same problems and you can discover ideas that can help you in your own business.

The event is not conditioned by the fact that you are already ProFlorist partner. It is open to community interest florists, digitisation, online orders and local visibility.

Flowers Market Holland, official partner of the meeting

The meeting is supported by Flowers Market Holland, flower warehouse and plants dedicated to flower supply.

For florists who need fast access to fresh flowers, plants, greenery and florist materials, Flowers Market Holland is an important benchmark in the B2B supply area.

The presence of a partner in the distribution and supply area is important precisely because the problems of florists are not only about selling or promoting, but also about the whole chain that makes the final floral product possible.

Florists in professional discussion

A better market is built together

ProFlorist starts from a simple idea: independent florists need modern solutions, but these solutions must be built together with the people who will use them.

You can’t understand the needs of an outdoor florist. You have to talk to the florists, listen to their experiences, see where they’re wasting time, where bottlenecks, what helps them and what confuses them.

That’s why this meeting is more than an event. It is a step towards a more organised, more connected and more careful market for local florists.

Event details

The meeting takes place on 3 July 2026 from 5.30 p.m.In Bucharest. The exact location was sent to registered participants.

Participation is restricted, precisely for the discussion to be real, close and applied. Places were limited and registration was handled through the event form.

If you have a flower shop and feel that the market needs more dialogue, more collaboration and really built solutions for the florists, the original invitation welcomed florists for coffee.
